The City of Peabody is updating its Recreation and Open Space Plan (ROSP) and needs your help!

 

What is a Recreation and Open Space Plan (ROSP)?

​

• Serves as the city’s road map for open space conservation, acquisition, maintenance and improvement. Open space includes parks, playgrounds, trails, greenways/bikeways, recreational facilities, farms, vacant lots and natural areas.

• Enhances quality of life by protecting environmental resources and community character.

• Establishes goals and objectives based on public input, and prioritizes actions over time to meet community goals and objectives.

• Makes the city eligible to apply for open space grants from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
